Small Steps to Improve Web Sales

Whether you built your website from the ground up or inherited it from a bygone era, your web pages may be overdue for a wellness check. How does your organization's website fare against the checklist below?
Ticket Forwarding
Give your patrons and sponsors the tools to distribute tickets amongst themselves without you lifting a finger. Not sure if ticket forwarding is for you? Preview it from the customer's point of view at this article.
My Account
So many websites are missing easy ways for customers to keep tabs on their orders. Add your organization's Sign In link to your main menu. If you're feeling fancy, you can even develop a Login/Cart Widget. This provides not only a Sign In link but also a running tally of what is in the patron's shopping cart, even if they flip between Agile pages and your website.
(Un)Bury the Lede
Does your organization have a "Buy Tickets" button loud and proud on its home page? Likewise, is it obvious where new patrons to sign up for your membership program? If not, a button, banner, or menu goes a long way.
Count the Clicks
How many clicks does it take to add a ticket to your cart? Five or less is fantastic. If you're not quite there, consider adding a Buy Tickets button to your home page. Addit links may also close the gap, especially for memberships. You can generate new addit links in Web Group options in Web Portal.
Bonus Round: Review your E-tickets
Some still print e-tickets out, so when the digital becomes real, make sure that ticket represents your organization as it is in the current moment. Is your logo up to date? If not, replace it with a current 300 dpi logo. While you're doing that, swap any barcodes with QR Codes for the smoothest scanning experience possible.
